We work with a select number of companies in a strategic partnership, with a time horizon of years.

This relationship typically comes in the form of a 3-phase approach:

Phase 01

Business review & development of a longer-term business plan.

Phase 02

Strategic advice on business plan implementation & minority shareholding in the business.

Phase 03

Shareholder & strategic advisor on further scaling & growth of the business.

An example of a current business advisory mandate:

Phase 01

Two-month business review with the senior management team, creation of a new business plan and support in the approval process from the company shareholders.

Compensation: Paid a one-time fixed fee for this phase.

Phase 02

Multi-year involvement as a strategic advisor supporting the senior management team as they execute and implement the new business plan. 

 

Compensation: Paid a retainer and given an equity stake in the new company to align the long term goals. 

Phase 03

Shareholder, Board member and strategic advisor.
 

Compensation: Retained as a Board member and given an option to an equity stake increase based on defined levels of company success.
